Ramsey Glass and Window Company celebrated 10 successful years in business in 1998. The company, based in Ramsey, Cambridgeshire, was set up by Andrew Parker in 1988. Ramsey Glass started out making double-glazed units and general glazing and now has two factories and a shop, employing 10 staff.

Hard work and a commitment to provide top quality products at a reasonable price has enabled the company to expand, and further growth is planned. Supplying local builder's merchants and businesses and providing products for the glass and window trade, and Huntingdonshire District Council, means the firm has a well-earned local reputation for excellence.

Andrew Parker says: "We try to manufacture everything in-house, so the firm can have complete control over the quality. It enables us to offer a fast and efficient service to the customer as we can cut down on the ordering, waiting and delivery time. We feel this makes us fairly unique. We also have a wide range of products, giving the customer choice and quality assurance."
